This remodel was all about blending elegance and warmth in an open, inviting space. We added character to the kitchen with mixed metals, marble counter tops, panel ready appliances and a hood with a plaster finish that brings texture and a lived-in feel. Classic subway tiles and floating shelves create a clean, modern vibe, balancing the traditional and the contemporary.
DINING
The dining area offers an abundance of light, whether you choose the formal dining space or the breakfast nook which offers an incredible ocean view. We created the dining area right off the kitchen for ease of entertainment and functionality.
LIVING AREAS
The two living spaces create both areas of warmth and open natural light. The main living space, features a striking dark tile fireplace framed with rich dark wood, bringing a contrast to the cream plaster walls. An additional living space opens up to abundant natural light with extra high ceilings, leading to a loft with breathtaking ocean views. Dark steel railings accent the light wood flooring, adding a touch of modern sophistication while enhancing the home’s seamless flow.
Taking advantage of natural light was on the top of the list for constructing this spacious Palos Verdes home. The primary suite offers beautiful views with French doors that open up right to the expansive backyard, offering plenty of light and beautiful sunsets. And the views don’t stop there. Take a soak in the bath with the pacific in sight. We chose materials that are easy on the eye with just the right amount of character with checkered floor tiles and wood cabinets. The two toned fixtures and hardware in the bathroom complement the space while adding a bit of contemporary flare.
